Equipment Introduction
The straight seam submerged arc welding pipe expanding machine is one of the main production equipment of the large-diameter straight seam welded pipe production line. It consists of a mainframe, auxiliary mechanisms, a pre-washing system, a post-washing system, a transfer cart, a hydraulic system, a lubrication system, and an electrical system, etc.
Equipment Features
Its working principle is to put the steel pipe that has been formed and internally and externally welded onto the die of the expanding head section by section. Through the die, it expands outwards along the radial direction, causing the inner wall of the steel pipe to expand outwards under the action of the die. The pipe material undergoes flow deformation, and various internal stresses in the material are redistributed evenly, thereby eliminating or reducing the internal stress generated by the forming and welding of the steel pipe; through strict control of the radial displacement of the die, the flow deformation of the pipe material can be controlled, and thus the precision and roundness of the steel pipe in the diameter direction can meet the requirements of standards such as AP15L.
