Project Introduction


  Based on the problems existing in the traditional spiral welded pipe production process for twenty years, a software and hardware integrated automatic optimization cutting system for steel pipes has been designed. Two PLCs respectively collect the encoder pulses placed at different workstations, exchange production data and control the production process in real time through wireless Ethernet, and realize automatic optimization cutting of spiral welded pipes. The automation design of key links in the spiral welded pipe production line has been realized.

  1) Adjust the roller adjustment amount △H to correct the pipe circumference deviation △L;

  2) Adjust the rear bridge drive oil cylinder adjustment amount △Y to correct the weld gap deviation △G;

  3) Compensate the auxiliary roller compensation adjustment amount △HG caused by the swing of the rear bridge to change the pipe circumference. After this set of pipe circumference and weld gap automatic control device is installed on the unit, the pipe circumference deviation can be controlled within ±2mm; the weld gap deviation can be controlled within ±0.3mm. The automated control of the forming process can significantly improve product quality and avoid steel pipe quality problems caused by insufficient operator experience and operational errors.
